WHERE IT
BEGAN
Woodworking has been in my blood for generations but I really fell in love with wood working as an Arborist, trimming trees and doing removals. I came to appreciate the time it took for the trees to grow, why they grew the way they did, the patterns of compression in their grain, the beauty they bring to our landscapes. One day after work my friend who happened to be the owner asked me to help him move a solid white oak slab dining table he had made as a gift. This table must have been 4 feet wide and 10 feet long. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I watched what was left of a 100 year old oak tree take it’s place in a home where it would be a table a family could gather around for another 100 years or more. That was the day I fell in love with solid wood furniture.
A FRESH START
I moved to Price UT in 2017 to be with my wife. A couple years later, we purchased a house that happened to have a large out building in the backyard. That was the opportunity that I needed to get my shop going.

The more projects I got done, the more I heard people telling me they were interested in having something built.

After spending most of my professional life in business and all of it in Utah stuck behind a desk, in 2024 I decided I was going to start providing for my family by doing something I love and creating a company of my own.

OF WOOD
Furniture making and woodworking for me is a romantic endeavor. I build furniture because I have a relationship with wood and I want others to enjoy that relationship as well. The projects I work on are built to endure, and bring joy and beauty into people's homes and lives.
Each piece is carefully designed with both the wood and the customer in mind. Each project is unique. I take it from sketch to final product, coaxing the wood to take on a new shape and purpose.

Instead of shopping at big box stores and getting woodworks that will almost certainly need to be replaced, invest in a furniture designer and maker who knows how to get the job done right and bring beauty into your home.
